I am looking at the Ti 5 plus vs the 6 pro Ti and I'd love some feedback from owners to know if the price jump from the 5 plus to the 6 is worth it. Let me tell you my primary use case. I live in Seattle, WA and climbed my first glacier coverted Mt last year - Mt. Baker.
This was my concern, I never had a Fenix 5 series, went to the Forerunner 935. Theres is no Fenix 6X Plus model, well nothing listed on Garmins website. I have since purchased (have to wait 3 weeks) a 6X pro solar (82 grams) The 6X Pro (non solar) is 93 grams. I wanted to keep weight down, thus going to the Solar model.

Watch the DCR comparison of the fenix 7 and instinct 2 Then consider the fenix 6 doesnât have a touch screen, but many of the software features. (Also are you looking at a 6 or 6 pro?) The elevate 4 sensor is better than 3 for sure, but for best accuracy you may end up with a strap anyway, so thatâs a wash.
The smaller S model is the most attractive and works well for slim wrists, while you get that insane battery life on the X models.
